4/18/2012: UIL Live version of "A Pantheonic Procession" - (Listen)
4/16/2012: Finished the first draft of "Solving Puzzles in the Dark" April is Autism awareness month. The piece depicts the joy, the sorry, and the hope of dealing with someone with Autism. Opening in a plaintive mournful fashion the works explores the step by step manner in not only education, but also the everyday life skills we all take for granted. One of the symbols for Autism is a ribbon comprised of multicolored puzzle pieces, hence the title and reference. The piece still needs some engraving work and the Harp part needs to be tweaked quite a bit. Tentatively set to premiere this May take a listen as well a look at the score. In the wilderness the moon shines above, lighting the earth beneath it. Home to the pack, ever watchful and ever vigilant. A stag appears on the ridge of the hill, majestic and solitary, swift as the wind. The pack pursues, and the chase is on. Despite the great stags speed and agility the strength of the pack prove to be too much.

10/9/2011: Finished the rough draft to my march "The Rose Standard" still need to finish the percussion parts and engrave the work. Scheduled to be premiered 11/19/2011 - wrote this for our symphonic 1 group (2nd band)

Just finished scoring my convocation piece "Horizons of Tomorrow" will finish engraving parts and score tomorrow. Here is a preview (midi needs a little work but for the moment it will suffice)

Very pleased to announce that my piece "Cathedrals" recieved honorable mention at the ATSSB Composition competition. There was only one winner (Egypt, the Awakening by Billy Newman) so I think I came in second.
